In the era of the Internet of Things and hyper-connectivity, Leti’s new generations of sensors open up new market opportunities for its partners throughout the entire value chain. CEA-Leti uses its systems expertise and cutting-edge technology platforms to propose solutions adapted to each application. Its offer covers development of specific technological building blocks and complete sensors (sensors that integrate signal processing, communication and energy management).

Our institute is a pioneer in the field of physical measurement, using surface MEMS technologies to create integrated inertial sensors and to process the associated data. CEA-Leti offers a new platform (M&NEMS) that makes it possible to create several types of sensors on the same chip and expertly utilizes the latest multimodal data fusion solutions from coding the algorithm to integrating it into a hardware and software solution.

CEA-Leti's work on chemical sensors ensures its unmatched expertise in technologies for integrating spectroscopic solutions for gas (air quality, industrial monitoring via sensor networks, etc.) and water analysis. In recent years, several start-ups have been created to develop this type of technology (APIX, eLichens, MirSense). Our institute also operates a state-of-the-art electrochemical platform.
